:: Katie and I moved to Denver in 2001 and began working toward careers in education. My brother, Dylan, moved to Colorado in early 2004 because he missed my cheery disposition*, and also because he is going to school at CU Denver. Our small, evil cat came along as well to continue her systematic decade-long torment of our lives. Our son, Jonah, was born in early 2005 and was immediately cute to one and all, illiciting attention from even the most hard-hearted. Alas, he too must learn to live with the evil that is our cat.
:: In the spring of 2007, Katie and I began the process of adopting a child from China. In September, we were matched with Qing Guoyu (a.k.a. Grady Self) from Qingyang, Gansu, about 10 hours outside of Lanzhou. We brought him back in March of 2008 (here's the blog to prove it) and have been pleasantly adjusting to life as a four-piece ensemble since.
